A-1 Piano & Organ Service

How shall we describe our philosophy?  Several points:
1.  Be fair.  Would you do it this way for your mother?                            
2.  Be honest.  Tell ahead of time what you expect to do and/or find.
3.  Be careful.  It is not our piano.
4.  Be technically correct.  No "make-do" repairs.
5.  Be precise.  It is what the customer rightly expects
6.  Be able to tell exactly what you will do before you do it.  Never any surprizes.

How do we tune?  
We use an Electronic Tuning Device designed specifically for tuning pianos, one or more of several we carry with us.
We then do the "by ear" or aural checks.

If it is right according to the ETD AND according to the ear, then it is right.  Not before.
